well i had my diabetes update today. It's been 9 months since i was diagnosed with it.
Let me put this into perspective.
August 2009 (1 year ago) I weighed 181 lbs.
December 31st i was diagnosed with diabetes. ( i had lost about 30 lbs on my own- had changed my diet a little as i knew i was eating bad and it'd kill me...) I weighed 151 at that time.
My FASTING sugar was 323, A1C 9.6.
I started walking... started a 1200 cal low carb diet.
I was put on 2 medicines for the diabets, taking 6 pills a day.
Cholestoral 178/HDL 15...
Today my FASTING sugar 85, A1C 5.6. I am not taking any medicine for diabetes or cholestoral.
HDL 44 (yay) 120- bad cholestoral (still needs more work)
and i weigh 107lbs. not loosing weight now but still loosing inches and gaining muscle. lol the nutritionist was going crazy on how my arms look lolol. and they asked if i'd do a video of success for them

Just wanted to share and tell yall it CAN be done. just takes determination and life change. YOU CAN DO IT!
oh yah and my pulse at rest was 95... now it's 66

News Flash: Originality reported in the area today; Art Critics shocked and surprised.
But, I was most affected by your story about your diabetes. I have arterial disease (I am 47, was diagnosed at age 44, which is way too young for the problems I have), have had 3 major surgeries (one to save my life, and the other two to save my right foot) and face tremendous lifestyle changes in order to avoid dying young from the disease.
Your story of success is very inspirational to me.
I thought you'd like to hear that.
Respectfully,
Darkmir
