Don't complain, I like the title. And I've always viewed Skyscrapers as metal mosters. Not really in a negative sense though. This is one of many shots that I'm scanning in from my trip to NY. The model is Scarlett, she's a NY native. Image is clean scan. Oh and btw, the other side of the edge is a 24 story drop. My husband who was with us had to leave, he couldn't watch her get up there like this without support. Myself... just prayed a good gust of wind didn't come along and happy as a little lark that she was brave enough to perch up on the ledge.
Woah, that is heaps col darky, and very goddamn scary. i for one would not be perched up there waiting for a gust of wind to turn me into a rather splattered version of myself...The perspective of this one is very cool, i really like it. Tje monochrome style of this one really accentuates the goodness of the whole image...i tihnk i will endure a full view for this one. Top work indeed, well done!
good heavens, she is flexible. i like the look on her face. and it's a nice contrast between the simple concrete in the foreground, and the complicated urban nightmare in the background. and there's the zebra-sock things (tights? crap, i dont know...) and fishnet and WONDERFUL hair in the middle. fantastic. i REALLY like her hair.
the photo is magnificent. i love the pose that you have her in. on top of that, the wicked background if stunning. lovely work! nice to see you're back into the swing of things!

WOW ! I downloaded the full view at ~5kb/s on a 56k modem. That alone makes it one of the best images I have seen for a while.
It is a really great photo too, it made me look at it for a few seconds before I realised where it was taken (physically not geographically) and the b&w suits well IMO.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
