Couln't think of another title for this piece. This was taken with my Macro lens of Michelle's eyes to show off the eyelash extentions for Drac N Box's Lashes.

About a year ago, I made a journal entry about how tired I was of seeing photos of eyes. They're everywhere; everybody posts pictures of eyes, eyes, eyes.

I guess the eye as a subject matter is appealing enough. It's easy to convey emotion with the eye. Adobe Photoshop's application icon even has an eye in it. (come to think if it, my Avatar is eye-centered! My hypocracy knows no bounds!)

So I had vowed not to bother viewing any more posts of eyes.

Then I saw this one. (it caught my eye? ;) I stand corrected. Someone CAN do an original, gripping photograph of eyes :)

The colors, the cropping, & the lighting in this photograph make it worthwhile. Great work.

I like this shot a lot...
I do wish the iris was sharp...
interesting choice of blurring..
throws me off that the lashes and eyebrows are sharp, but not her eye.
